Brand new, well appointed two bedroom apartment, fully self contained. Located within close proximity of main house but is a separate building. One carpark is allocated for guests, with extra parking if required. The property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, very private and has a security gate. Parking available for a boat as well.
We are located on the Ruakaka River, and just a 2 min drive to Ruakaka Surf Beach, Bream Bay. Just a short drive to the World class Marsden Point Marina (5kms). Waipu (10kms), Waipu Cove & Whangarei City are all within easy reach.
All amenities very close by - Supermarket, Medical Centre, Bank, Chemist, Liquor Store, Takeaways, Dentist and more.

Summary: Carol & Gordy were amazing hosts! Our group booked last minute & they managed to prepare the property for us on such short notice! Instructions were clear & Check-in and Check-out process was a breeze so our group was stoked about that! Upon arrival we were greeted by Carol & Gordy - lovely people! Who even left a bottle of wine for us which we were so grateful for!🩷The property was very cosy and fit perfectly for our small group. We could not stop talking about how spacious the bathroom was, Everything in the home was lovely. Truly grateful at how spotless the home was upon check-in! We made full use of the kitchen which also had alot of the essentials we required for our home-made dinnersLocation of the property was stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed the deck views of the Ruakaka River & it was so close to the local supermarket & beach - super convenient for us!Overall a very lovely cosy place - would definitely recommend & also would stay here again! Thank you Carol & Gordy!

Summary: Great little spot with relaxing vibes. All the amenities you need! Great comms with the property manager. We loved it so much we had to stay an extra night. Will definitely stay here again. Great for all ages.

Summary: Clean,tidy, safe and warm.place was great for our two boys. Lots of board games to play and books to be read in between beach play and caves. Spacious enough so that we didn't feel cramped if the weather had turned

Summary: My friend and I stayed for a weekend. The cottage is comfortable and clean. It has everything needed, even nice pillows. One thing to note is that the front sliding door comes in through a bedroom. There is another entrance one the other side that can be used so it's not a huge issue. I would happily stay again.

Summary: What a wonderful peaceful place to spend for 3 days. We where able to explore the beach which was relatively close just a shhort drive from the home. The 2 small shopping areas where within easy reach one was only a short walk from the home and the other was a short drive away. I would give it in our eyes a 5 star rating. We also enjoyed a walk along the river.
